Student Conduct

Student Conduct:
The safety of everyone in the program is of utmost importance. Any threat to anyone’s physical or emotional safety will not be tolerated. No weapons, or items deemed dangerous or harmful, may be carried by anyone during school hours and a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy will be strictly enforced. Please keep in mind that possession of any of the above after school hours may result in consequences from local law-enforcement agencies. Any breach of these rules may result in disciplinary actions, and/or legal consequences.

Additional Rules:
Cell phones may not be used during school hours.
Smoking is allowed during specified times and specific locations.

Dress code:
Aish Tamid/Pardes strongly believes that a person’s dress effects their attitude and way they feel about themselves. To reach our goal of personal growth, we are implementing a basic standard of dress.

Appropriateness dress/accessories is subject to the discretion of staff.

The following is the school code of dress:
1)Vulgar or inappropriate shirts may not be worn.
2)No tattered or torn clothing.
3)All shirts must have sleeves, ie. no tank-tops.
4)Cargo shorts are allowed, but not gym shorts and the like.
5)No piercings or tattoos of any kind may be visible.
6)Please wear shoes that are comfortable for trips and activities, even on non-trip days. Clogs/mules and other backless shoes are not recommended. Flip-flops and sandals may not be worn.
7)The student’s head must be covered at all times. Acceptable coverings include baseball caps or yarmulkes/kippot. Bandanas are not acceptable.
