Main Menu Sub Menu Aish Tamid Legal Aid Services (ATLAS) ProgramThe Aish Tamid Legal Aid Service (ATLAS) Program is a bold and refreshing response for students and families who are overwhelmed by legal hurdles and who need professional legal assistance now! Over the years, Aish Tamid has assisted students and families with a range of specialized legal needs ranging from SSI/SSD applications and appeals, immigration and visa paperwork, landlord/tenant and housing issues, bankruptcy and/or debt management, DUI or other criminal charges to name a few. At the same time, Aish Tamid has placed numerous students and alumni in positions working as paralegals or law clerks in law firms in the Los Angeles Area. The time has come to merge. The ATLAS Program will service community legal needs under the guidance of experienced community attorneys and with the help of the Aish Tamid student and alumni interns acting as paralegals and legal assistance. Community members will get the help they need, students and alumni will get trained and sharpen their legal skills and practicing attorneys can utilize years of experience in helping community members in need with students who are eager and motivated to learn and jump start their careers in the area of law.
