Aish Tamid does not strive to be all things for all people, but is committed to providing appropriate and needed resources throughout the Jewish community. The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will be a rolling and traveling life-line for the Los Angeles community and will be made available, by request, as needed and "on demand" to the community at-large and will be offered for scheduling for professional presentations, workshops and consultations at selected school, synagogues, and other important community events.

Our experience in helping hundreds of at-risk teens and their families has proven to us that individuals who are in most need of help are often paralyzed with fear and/or depression and are unsure of how to proceed. The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will deliver the solution directly to them, at the front door of their school, synagogue and community center.

The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will be tailored and designed to address the significant needs of the affiliated and unaffiliated Jewish Community, providing an avenue for individuals and families to access resources and pertinent information, as well as support and referral assistance.

The concept is to design a vehicle that will either provide, based on the scheduled engagement, a professional "roadshow" (i.e. workshop/presentation to studnets, parents or community) or an "info to go!" media center (i.e. parades, public events etc) distributingd needed information and resources. The The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will work with local synagogues, schools and community organizations, parking the "customized and specially designed" RV in conspicuous places where it can be easily accessed.

In keeping with our mission, we will primarily offer resources, services & workshops for at-risk youth (and their families), including drug and alcohol counseling & testing, one-on-one mentorship and counseling, as well as community support group and religious programming information.

The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will also be available to frequent local Jewish senior citizen centers, providing information and application assistance on SSI/SSD & Medi-cal, information and availability on flu shots and immunizations, provide a resource library, and other services identified by participating members.

The opportunities for interfacing with the Mobile Information Center are limitless. We plan on taking the center to local schools in a regularly scheduled manner, offering students opportunities to explore resources and receive support in a new and innovative manner and to provide workshops by trained counselors and professional staff.

The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will park in a prominent location at parades and community events to provide the community with resources. The logo our corporate sponsor will be prominently displayed on the Mobile Information Center, providing wide visabilility and signage for funders and partners.

STAFFING
At the minimum, a team of two or three (2-3) new staff members will be hired to drive and staff The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center. On selected occasions, our existing staff can provide supplemental workshops and additional assistance. This designated team will be responsible for interfacing with synagogues, schools and community organizations to arrange the schedule for the The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center, as well as scheduling the events, workshops, resources and support information to be held in or near the vehicle. The individuals hired to staff the The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will either be professional public and/or motivational speakers, have specialized training and experience (i.e. retired law enforcement officials, nurses, etc.) or hold a degree in Social Work or Counseling. The team will be keenly aware and trained on the multiplicity of Jewish and non-Jewish resources available throughout Southern California, in order to timely refer community members to various resources as needed.

Various resources are available for Jewish Community members throughout Los Angeles County, however they are not always easily accessible. The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center offers a cutting-edge approach to deliver resources directly to the community, by literally taking them to the "front-door" of individuals in need.

The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center may go from a park in West Hollywood frequented by Russian speaking youth one day, to a seniors center located in the Valley the next day, to a parent/PTA night at a school on the next day and then on to an elementary school for a student workshop, etc. The schedule will reflect the needs of the community and will be flexible.

Not only does this novel approach offer visibility for our corporate sponsor and partnering agencies, but it provides opportunities for the wider community to view Jewish organizations in a positive manner.

JEWISH OUTREACH
The Roadshow is a cutting-edge Kiruv program that will be able to reach an untapped market of thousands of unaffiliated Jews (of all ages and backgrounds) each year. The ARoadshow@ will utilize the same techniques, presentation and Astyle@ that has been perfected and developed (after tens of millions of invested market research dollars) by large corporations who utilize Amobile media A promotional marketing at NASCAR racing events, Las Vegas promotional conventions and other large venue events. In short, we are going to use it for Kiruv!

Imagine, a rolling and traveling life-line that will be made available, by request, as needed and "on demand" for professional presentations, workshops and consultations at selected schools, colleges, synagogues, and other important community events. The individuals hired to staff The Roadshow will be (either) professional Jewish outreach professionals, public and/or motivational speakers, have specialized training and experience (i.e. retired law enforcement officials, nurses, etc.) and/or hold a degree in Rabbinate, Social Work or Counseling. The team will be keenly aware and trained on the multiplicity of Jewish and non-Jewish resources available throughout California and the world in order to timely refer the interested participant to the proper resource that would fit his/her age, background and personality.

Staff will be responsible for interfacing with synagogues, schools, community organizations and local college campuses to arrange the traveling schedule for The Roadshow. They will schedule events, workshops, resources and support information to be held in or near the vehicle and will work on following-up with new contacts made at each stop so that we can customize which organization and/or which personality we should refer the interested participant to so they can begin their new Jewish journey.

The Aish Tamid Roadshow & "Info to Go!" Media Center will revolutionize our standard vision of AJewish Outreach@ and deliver authentic Judaism directly to the front door of the local schools, college campuses, synagogues, community events and centers.
