Main Menu Sub Menu "Sparks of Inspiration" Student PublicationThe release of the yearly “Sparks of Inspiration” Student Torah Publication has become a much anticipated event in Los Angeles over the last several years. The yearly publication is a collection of inspirational Torah thoughts by students, rabbis and community friends. The last two (2) editions have grown in size from the original 50 page Pesach publication to a tremendous 100 page collection of inspiring Torah thoughts. It is distributed locally, nationally and internationally, free of charge, and has been embraced by thousands of people from around the world. The “Sparks of Inspiration” Student Torah Publication is a unique opportunity for students, parents, community rabbis and leaders and other friends of Aish Tamid to share some of there Torah learning or personal thoughts regarding a specific aspect of a holiday with everyone. Weeks before going to print, each student writer is given an opportunity to sit with an Aish Tamid Rabbi to try and work on an inspiring Torah idea to be submitted for publication. In the past, available funding has allowed us to print all Torah submissions. At the personal choice of the author, name recognition for authorship can and will be given. In cases, where a student does not wish to have his name attached to his writing, then Aish Tamid will list the author as “anonymous.” If you would like more information on how to submit a Torah thought for submission in the next “Sparks of Inspiration” Student Torah Publication or if you would like to be involved on the Editing Board, please contact the Aish Tamid office.
