Dear Avi ;

I am very excited to hear of your long overdue plans to expand your Aish Tamid
program. Over the past few years we have witnessed your unbelievable success in
our community. You have single-handedly created a Mokom Torah for hundreds
of young members of the greater Los Angeles community.
Your program provides a sorely needed program for these young men. What a
wonderful Kiddush Hashem to see hundreds of young men, from all types of
backgrounds, coming to the Kollel to learn at night, either in a class or with
chavrusos.
You have tirelessly provided them with a place to go, someone to talk to with
compassion and understanding. These young men that are constantly being lured
away from a Torah lifestyle have found a place to receive chizuk and to help
others maintain and grow in their yiddishkeit.
Your program is a true Kiddush HaShem and long overdue. I am confident that
people will assist you in your expansion project to enable you to reach more and
more of these young men that need to have an Aish Tamid burning constantly.
