CurriculumEach calendar day is designed to help enhance the individual skills, talents and abilities of each student. The innovative and cutting-edge Pardes program delivers education, direction and guidance in an alternative and intimate setting designed to prevent students from falling through the cracks of larger traditional institutionalized school programs. Students meet daily for religious, spiritual, and group discussion in a setting they feel comfortable and safe to explore a variety of topics and ask the questions they have. On some days Pardes travel by van to specifically selected locations in Los Angeles, wherein trained staff engage the students, run additional individual and group sessions, provide guest speakers, and facilitate the student GED program, community Chesed/outreach work. Experienced staff will also work with parents at weekly Aish Tamid Parent Forum Groups and offer high-impact Community Workshops on pertinent topics. |
