Addiction Counseling & Referral Services

The services provided for issues of addiction speak true to the name.

There is professional counseling offering by qualified Aish Tamid staff and when the need for more intensive levels of care is needed the necessary referrals are made.

Aish Tamid utilizes and integrates the ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) Criteria in all cases in efforts to provide the most efficient care and service possible.

These services are overseen by Mr. Jay Greenberger, ASW and case consultation is often provided by the leading professionals in the field from New York and Los Angeles.

Mr. Greenberger’s prior experiences working at all different levels of care give him the experience and knowledge to provide the best services possible for Aish Tamid student participants and other family participants.

Mr. Greenberger is assisted by Rabbi Gavriel Hershoff CAC, CAD who is in the process of obtaining his Masters degree in the field of Social Work.

Aish Tamid takes a holistic and individualized approach when dealing with each person.

We integrate family and/or the person's healthy close network of people in all the services provided. Family background/history, psychological/psychiatric history, educational, and religious/spirituality history are all taken under consideration when the services are being provided.

Aish Tamid works closely with a toxicology laboratory, in addition to performing on-site urine screenings, to monitor the progress of each person.

If you need to get more information on this important program, please call the Aish Tamid office.
