Friday Evening & Holiday Services & Programs

The Aish Tamid Friday Night Minyan and “Lights Out!” Seudas Shlishis is often standing room only and has successfully played an essential role in transforming what “shabbos” means for hundreds of participants over the past year. In fact, there is no Prayer service in the entire Fairfax/ Hancock Park area quite like the Aish Tamid services.

By adopting the lively and inspiring “Carlebach” service melodies, congregants and students have completely taken their religious prayer levels to new heights. Dancing, clapping and joyful singing are all part of the weekly services. It is not uncommon at our Friday night service to father and son praying side by side and in some cases, grandfather, son and grandson!

When necessary, Shabbos accommodations and meals can be set up in the Fairfax/Hancock Park area to welcome visiting guests.

Friday/Shabbos evening “Tischs” occur several times a month and continue to provide new opportunities for local young adults to come together on shabbos evening, after services and dinner, to sing and share inspiring stories and Torah thoughts.

World renowned Torah Scholars, Charismatic guest speakers and guest musicians have all been known to visit and participate in our services when available.
