Nico-Teen Smoking Solutions Program

The Nico-Teen Challenge is a customized program to assist teens and young adults overcome their tobacco and smoking addition. This new program focuses on an overlooked but essential need in our community which is providing resources to help teens and young adults to stop smoking and live a healthy life!

Aish Tamid has been successful in helping teens and young adults identify the most effective ways to stop cigarette smoking.

By working individually with each student participant, Aish Tamid explains the different approaches to quitting and highlights the pros and cons of each approach.

It is important for each student to first understand that cigarette smoking involves both a physical addiction to nicotine and a psychosocial habit, so effective interventions typically include components that address BOTH of these factors.

Aish Tamid is able to provide customized solutions for both the physical and psychosocial habit and we recognize that it's common for people to make several "quit attempts" before they finally succeed.

Whether the solution involves going "cold turkey", utilizing nicotine replacement products (such as nicotine patches or nicotine gum), "nicotine fading", "relapse prevention", developing a quit smoking contract and/or support system with yourself, Aish Tamid is here to help.

If you need to get more information on this important program, please call the Aish Tamid office.
