Mr. Jay Greenberger, ASWDirector of Education and Administration After spending 3 years studying in Israel, Jay graduated from Touro College with a major in Psychology. He continued his education at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work and earned his Master’s in Social Work. Jay did his internship at FEGS (Federation of Employment and Guidance Services) Suffolk IPRT, an intensive psychiatric rehabilitation treatment program in Suffolk County, NY. In addition to that, Jay worked as a mentor for students ages 12-17 at the TOVA (Torah Viable Alternatives) Mentoring Program based out of Cedarhurst, NY. His success at TOVA led him to become one of the Supervisor Mentors of the program. After 3 years of successful work at TOVA, Jay took his skills, training, and experience working with teenagers to The Yatzkan Center, presently in Mount Vernon, NY. The Yatzkan Center is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment facility servicing Jewish adolescents from around the world. Jay was a Primary Counselor of the program and engaged the residents in individual therapy as well as group therapy. Jay joined the Aish Tamid team in August of 2007.
