StaffAish Tamid takes tremendous pride in our professional staff. In fact, our team of skilled professionals has effectively created one of the most sophisticated and comprehensive teen and young-adult "safety nets" available to any Jewish communities in the country. By developing and implementing innovative and engaging programs and services that are customized for teens, young adults (and their families), Aish Tamid has become one of the most important community resources for the Los Angeles Jewish community. Since our inception, the Aish Tamid Team has placed family sensitivities and immediate crisis intervention services at the top of our priority list. Our staff is generally able to respond to calls and requests within 24 hours. All requests and inquiries are directed to our intake coordinator, who is charged with the responsibility of dispositioning all new calls and referrals. Each staff members is extensively trained and has been hand-picked for their skills, talents and abilities. It should also be noted that Aish Tamid limits and closely monitors the number of student participants that each team member is assigned to work with. Our decision to assign a lower number of students to each Team staff member is very costly to Aish Tamid, but also directly contributes to the overall success rate and effective handling of each student participant. In order to successfully service all of the needs and requests, our staff works in close partnership on a daily basis, but also divides primary duties and tasks(teen services, clinical services, job placement services, religious services, etc.) into smaller specialized responsibilities which are assigned to each staff member and easily managed.
